Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Penn/Jefferson

This is a multi-PI grant that spans Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania.  The right candidate could spend time at either or both institutions. The PIs and chosen candidate will work out the details of whether they will be a Jefferson or Penn employee.

The Philp/Boesze-Battaglia labs are seeking an innovative and motivated postdoctoral fellow to study retinal metabolism in the murine retina. Studies will focus on how key metabolic transporters and enzymes required for fatty acid oxidation and ketogenesis impact normal visual function using transgenic mouse models. Candidates should have a solid background in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and/or retinal biology.
