In this two-hour workshop, participants will analyze the difference between a presentation and a TED talk, plan their approach using a narrative structure, and consider the importance of delivery and body language. The workshop will conclude with resources and information about TEDxPenn-CHOP opportunities for interested participants.

This 2-hour intensive workshop is designed to assist participants in communicating their science to broad audiences. The facilitators will review best practices when discussing one’s research to a broad audience and the various pitfalls postdocs might encounter as they communicate outside of their lab.
