Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the Postdoctoral Fellowships Available in the Division of General Anesthesia (Neuroscience).

Description:
Ours is a stress neurobiology laboratory with the goal of elucidating the mechanisms by which stress leads to psychiatric and medical disorders including depression, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder and Alzheimer's disease. We are particularly interested in 1) cellular and molecular bases for sex differences in vulnerability to stress-related disorders, 2) the developmental determinants of stress consequences and 3) the role of coping styles in determining the impact of stress. Our approaches span from molecular to whole animal behavioral levels.

Requirements:
For this position, we are particularly interested in someone who will do neuronal recordings in unanesthetized rats undergoing stress and/or performing cognitive tasks and computational analyses.
