The CHOP Research Institute Summer Scholars Program (CRISSP) is a new, competitive summer internship program for undergraduates interested in the biomedical sciences. The pilot program will include 10 students in summer 2012.

Students will be placed in the lab or research group of participating CHOP faculty where they will work full-time for 10 weeks. In addition to other assigned work, students must complete one research project that has been assigned to them by the PI. Stipends will be provided to the scholars through the CRISSP program, at no cost to the PI. Travel and housing are not included.

The Office of Responsible Research Training, which administers CRISSP, will onboard students and provide supplemental programming opportunities. Eligible students must be full-time undergraduates with a competitive GPA, and a strong interest in biomedical research.
